On this page you find an overview of the documentation that has been generated within the framework of the Run4Life project. This includes general information about the project and the concept of resource recovery from source-separated domestic wastewaters. For example, publicity materials such as brochures and posters, but also specific project results that have been presented and published can be found. Furthermore, the public deliverables are added here, most of these will become available at the end of the project.

Run4Life partners Nicolas Morales of Aqualia, Grietje Zeeman of LeAF, Paraschos Chatzopoulos of Desah and Beatriz Medina of Water, Environment and Business for Development (WE&B) engaged participants in the challenges and opportunities encountered in resource recovery from wastewaters and food waste, a crucial aspect of the transition to a circular economy. Also, Juan M. Lema Rodicio, Professor Emeritus of the Universidad de Santiago de Compostela, partner of the Run4Life consortium, was awarded with the highest recognition granted by the Politecnico di Milano: the Honorary Degree ‘Laurea Magistrale ad Honorem’. Presentations of the EU Green Week ESPP PERM Meeting, June 2nd 2021
As part of the ESPP, PERM meeting Run4Life presented some finding of the project. In the LCA session Maite Moreira of project partner USC showed some LCA results from Run4Life and in the breakout session ‘Nutrient recovery from sewage and wastewater’ Nicolás Morales of Aqualia gave a presentation the segregated treatment of wastewater approach of Run4Life. The sessions were also recorded and the recordings are available online; LCA-session & ‘Nutrient recovery from sewage and wastewater’-session.

As part of the EU Green Week, project partner Isle organised the 2nd Innovation Workshop of the Run4Life project. The aim of the workshop was to connect Run4Life technology developers and fertiliser producers directly with end-users. As part of the EU Green Week, the demonstration sites of Run4Life opened their doors. In Porto do Molle Vigo participants were offered an on-site visit to the resource recovery installations, whereas demonstration sites Sneek, Ghent and Helsingborg held online virtual tours.
